New Year's Eve in Naples has a tradition and significance for Neapolitans of unmeasurable dimensions. Not only the "endless" Dinner, but also and especially the events and shows around the city all to be experienced to enjoy the last day of the year to the fullest.

It starts with celebrations as early as Thursday, December 29th, and then continues day by day until the fateful night between December 31th and January 1st. It will be there that the waterfront will explode with fireworks and music until dawn.

New Year's Eve in Naples begins December 29th in the name of music and tradition. In fact, on Thursday the Pino Daniele Ets Foundation will present "SOMETHING WILL COME Audiovisual Live Performance," an event dedicated to Pino Daniele's music and young talent. There will be numerous talents from all over Italy, who will reinterpret songs by the late Neapolitan author. The show will take place at the Umberto Gallery at 7 p.m. and will be free admission while capacity lasts.

The next day, so December 30th, there is also room for the little ones in this festive and joyful atmosphere. There will be numerous fun and educational activities at the Maschio Angioino, with musical workshops where they can build musical instruments and others where they can dance or even build melodies. The event will start at 10 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. with free admission

The big show of the day, however, is at Piazza del Plebiscito, where we find an evening of music. The star of the evening is Rkomi, one of the biggest representatives of the Italian music scene and fresh from his experience as a judge on X Factor. The Milanese singer will open the evening singing his main hits, reason why we imagine a large crowd to cheer one of the artists of the moment. Afterwards, space will be given to four up-and-coming singers, all with origins from Campania. The start of the show is set for 9 p.m., again free admission

New Year's Eve amid fireworks and shows on the waterfront

On December 31th the New Year's Eve stage is always the same, the traditional Piazza del Plebiscito, every year a theater of joy and celebration. The evening will be hosted by Peppe Iodice together with Francesco Mastandrea, Francesco Procopio and Daniele Decibel Bellini. Many shows will be presented, above all that of one of the most beloved couples of Italians, namely Stefano De Martino and Belen Rodriguez, accompanied by Biagio Izzo and Gianni Simeoli. In closing, DJ set by Decibel Bellini and the long-awaited concert by Franco Ricciardi

The entire waterfront will be set up ad hoc trying to get into everyone's good graces, with stages featuring 70s and 80s dance music, others with commercial music and still others with DJ sets until dawn. Of course, the traditional fireworks show scheduled as every year at 1:30 a.m. at Castel dell'Ovo will be unmissable, a spectacle that can be seen safely from multiple points in the city.

In short, once again Naples will want to greet the ending year and enter the new one in the sign of beauty and spectacle. All that reimans is to enjoy the New Year's Eve show!
